Misty Morning Light is a celebration of a misty morning, as the sun just softly breaks through and the water droplets glisten and shimmer. Our view to backyard gum trees, is ever changing and an endless source of calm and inspiration.
From a series created as I began to shift focus from purely botanicals to our Australian bush.
The detail in each leaf is created in the multiple layers of colour and textures I love to add before the final gum leaf shapes even begin to appear.
This artwork in acrylic paint is finished with a painted white edge on a slim, 1 inch thick stretched gallery canvas.
