Summer Gum Leaves have usually basked in the warm morning air and sunshine as the dawn breaks. Our backyard gum trees catch the morning light and then glossy leaves endure the day’s following summer heat. Leaves seem to shimmer in the bright daylight. From a series created as I began to shift focus from purely botanicals to celebrating our quintessential Australian bush.
This artwork in acrylic paint is unframed.
It can be finished with a simple light birchwood floating frame which complements the art and is suitable for most home decor.
