My love of all things magenta means that I have been drawn to this exotic flowering tree and its beautiful butterfly flowers. Its leaves are even shaped like the butterfly wings I used to draw when I was a child. I eventually had to paint a version or two while travelling and then on canvas when back in my studio. I have enjoyed their stylish form and surprisingly have watched happy wanderer butterflies find them irresistible too.
This artwork in acrylic paint is unframed.
It can be finished with a simple light birchwood floating frame which complements the art and is suitable for most home decor.
