Winter flowering Geraldton Wax bring clusters of delicate waxy flowers to the garden or road verges. They are a favourite cut flower and range from white, soft pinks through to shades of magenta and purple. The buds are perfect confetti balls, reminding me of popcorn waiting to pop. Discovering a new technique in painting these with alcohol inks was a breakthrough moment.
