Agapanthus Summer

Agapanthus flowering in a summer garden are one of my favourite flowers. They are a hardy specimen and a staple in every garden I’ve been able to plant, from the deepest midnight blue to the more popular purple and white forms.

A every stage they interest me as they evolve from bud to feisty multi floret blooms, and I watch as they open to that lovely full cluster and then become a an attraction for native birds and honeybees.
