Morning Light in Gum Leaves is the view of gum leaves I enjoy on a rare morning that I’m awake that early, as the sun rises. In this painting I’ve also included some scribbly marks which are often found on the gum leaves on closer observations. These have been made through intuitive mark making in my process of making many layers to give texture to the final piece when revealed.
This artwork in acrylic paint is finished with a simple light birchwood floating frame which complements the art and is suitable for most home decor.
